A citizen who protested saying "I can't buy bread" said: I ask Tayyip to resign.

The CHP held a "People's Will" rally in Kartal. Citizens attending the rally also protested the lawlessness. One citizen, stating that they would continue to support İmamoğlu, said, "We are İmamoğlu. Of course, we want him to come out and become president. In other words, let our country get better, let good things happen. We're going through a very bad situation. I hope it will be better. May God grant us good things. The people are in a difficult situation, a very difficult situation."
"WHEN THE PEOPLE SAY ENOUGH, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH"
Another citizen expressed his feelings about the hearing in Silivri as follows:
I plan to overcome the dark days with good ones. These days were even better. It was a beautiful, happy day in Silivri. Our president defended himself beautifully. In other words, we caused a stir there. I'm 100% certain he'll be released. He gave a calm, beautiful speech. He's close to release. It's obvious because they haven't found anything. They can't find anything, after all. Nothing. He's not at fault, nothing. They're trying to force him, saying, 'Come, let's keep you here. Let's handle this alone.' That's over now. It's over. The people have woken up. The government doesn't benefit from the people waking up. The government becomes uneasy as the people wake up. The government takes action. It's the unity and solidarity of the people. When the people say enough is enough, enough is enough. There's no other choice. I came here at this age.
"THERE IS NO INVESTIGATION AGAINST ANY AKP OR MHP MUNICIPALITY"
Another citizen expressed his criticism of the government as follows:
"Let me tell you this: if I speak up, they'll either call me a 'FETÖ member' or a 'terrorist.' That's how it is in this country. There are no rights, no law. The country is finished, the economy is finished, everything is finished. But right now, they're distracting the country's agenda with different, absurd things. The state of the country is clear. Today, the minimum wage is 22,000 lira. But everything goes up every day, every month. Is there such a thing? There's no such thing. The country is finished. Currently, 18 mayors are in prison because they're CHP members. But they're up there talking about initiatives, this and that, and so on. They're playing politics. What is İmamoğlu's crime? What is it? You have a lot of corruption, lawlessness, and injustice, yet corruption investigations are being launched against all CHP municipalities. There are no investigations against any AKP or MHP municipalities. What kind of thing is this? What kind of understanding of religion? What kind of justice? What kind of humanity? There's no such thing."
"LET'S ASK THEM TO GO"
A citizen who stated that Melih Gökçek should be tried said:
"Let me say this: Our municipalities are not thieves. If they're looking for thieves, they should look at the former mayor of Ankara. And they should look at the former mayoral candidate who took over half of Izmir. They are thieves. They are thieves themselves. I'm retired. I can't buy bread. I couldn't buy fruit this past summer. They're still after the municipalities. They've made the nation cry for their own gain, to stay in power. Let them go. Let us beg them, let them go. So what? Are we going to bear their burden? I'm begging Tayyip: Let him resign. Please? Let him step aside, let him sit down. Let us be at peace. Let us be free. Let him not restrict our freedom. He stole, that's enough. Let him take a little of what he stole and eat. By God, that's enough for him. What will happen? Don't be afraid. I'm not afraid. He robbed the poor and fed the rich. Let me also tell him this: He shouldn't mention Allah, he shouldn't mention the Prophet. In Islam, "This does not exist. There is no lying in Islam. There is no slander. There is no ambition. There is no hatred. A Muslim does not act like that."
